Access complimentary courses on-demand and with ease through our online portal.

With over 200 resources available, Motion offers more than 50 online and hybrid learnings with Continuing Education Units (CEU) credits through our online learning portal.

While the term ‘CEU’ is in the public domain, not all continuing education or professional training hours are true IACET CEUs. Only accredited providers (APs), like Motion, who have been approved by the IACET Commission are allowed to award accredited CEUs.

Assistive Devices Education Program for Therapists (ADEPT) Academy


Bringing together theory and practice in one program to elevate clinical confidence.

Developed with direct input from clients, Authorizers, vendors, and manufacturers, ADEPT Academy is an innovative and complimentary education program for therapists who prescribe and authorize mobility devices.

Currently available for Authorizers in Ontario, the program will be expanded to support clinicians across the country by the end of 2025.

Linda Norton, M.Sc.CH, Ph.D., OT Reg. (Ont.)


Linda is an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about the prevention and management of pressure injuries. She is also passionate about the provision of seating and mobility devices for clients with complex needs. It is her diverse experience in various settings including hospital, community, and industry; and experience in various roles including clinician, educator, manager, and researcher that give Linda a unique perspective.

She has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course through the University of Toronto, a Master’s in Community Health focusing on pressure injury prevention and a Ph.D. in Occupational Science focusing on chronic wounds. Her research focused on how health care providers identify and address lifestyle factors for clients with chronic wounds.

Linda is a co-director and faculty member of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course and is a faculty member of the Advanced Health Care Practice – Wound Healing program at Western University. Linda regularly presents workshops and webinars across Canada and is the Director, Learning and Clinical Education for Motion.

Stefanie Sukstorf Laurence, B.Sc.OT, OT Reg.(Ont)


Stefanie Laurence wants to live in a world where every wheelchair is perfectly fitted, comfortable, functional, and used correctly.  As an Occupational Therapist and Clinical Educator for Motion, she’s been on her soapbox for over 35 years at colleges, universities, group homes, hospitals, and conferences across North America and even as far as Europe.

When she’s not teaching about seating and mobility equipment, you can find her with her arms wrapped around a client helping to create a custom seating system, or elbows deep with a team to sort out a challenge.

Ankshika Punj, Ph.D., CTDP


Ankshika Punj is the Manager of Learning & Development at Motion, where she leads the design and execution of learning strategies for employees and partners. She also manages the Motion Learning Portal (LMS) and oversees compliance with IACET accreditation standards.

With over 15 years of international experience in education and workplace learning, Ankshika is a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) and an active member of the Research Committee at the Institute for Performance and Learning, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based practices in the field.

She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from North Carolina A&T State University, where her research explored the relationship between cultural intelligence and transformational leadership among law enforcement leaders. Her academic background also includes a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from Delhi University and an M.S. in Leadership and Change Management from Pfeiffer University. Driven by a passion for exploring cultural nuances and applying user experience (UX) design principles, Ankshika is committed to creating learner-centric, inclusive, and impactful learning environments grounded in adult learning theory – empowering individuals and teams to grow and succeed.
